I keep trying to get creative with what I wear, and it sometimes makes my other outfits pale in comparison. For example, this is a cute outfit. Skinny jeans, and an adorable top (hello boobs!) paired with some cute pumps and a matching purse, it's right on the money. But I feel like I didn't really DO anything. I just put on clothes. Now the poof...that was another story all together. It took a lot of effort.
Now this outfit, I had to work for. That's my LBD (little black dress) usually reserved for fancy dates and girls nights out. It's fancy and light and pretty, compliments of the limited. But I decided to go out on a limb and pair it with a casual jacket (Luella for Target) and a belt (that I'm pretty sure came from goodwill) and flats (for maximum comfort AND casual appeal - and what, it was a little splurge, gotta have at least one coach in the closet) to make it work appropriate. And guess what - I think I totally pulled it off. Now what this whole experience has taught me I need a better picture taking method - perhaps a tripod and a self timer, or something more complex like a roommate. Of course, it has to look awfully self centered of me to take so many pictures of myself, but believe me, its for the greater good of all. This next outfit I think is kind of sweet and
cute. A fitted pencil skirt brings a little sexy (Paul and Joe for Target) but the buttons make it less severe. Then I paired it with this sweet little eyelet top to give the outfit a nice summer feel. Then with cute little wedges with the cute little flowers I put this outfit to a new level of CUTE. I'm a cute girl though, so I think I pull it off.And that is that.
